The Day The Nation Cried
America is a sign of freedom For all in the world to see Someone tried to take that Away that never will be
Pain and fear is what we feel Across the nation today Our hearts weep for those lost On this splendid day
Innocent lives lost forever Taken without warning From all of those that loved them On this glorious morning
As the numbers rise Never forget that each had a name A life thats lost not forgotten Has an eternal flame
The world was to be at peace If only but for a day Instead she sits & softly cries On this mournful day
WE WILL NEVER FORGET...THE DAY THE NATION CRIED GODSPEED BE WITH YOU ALL

Theres have been so many lives that have been lost, and so many that are missing. There are too many names to share with the world of those that are no longer with us, so here are some pictures of those innocent victims who's lives were cut short from these cowardly acts of terrorism. There are no words to justify those who's lives that were taken away from their families, friends, and loved ones. They now are in a better place in this world where harm will never come across them again. May they watch over us and help guide us to those responsible for this Attack On America. Bringing justice to all of you,so that you may rest in peace, and help ease the pain of those that you left behind. |

Tonight we look to this day, although tragic, with pride. As tears fill our eyes for the souls who have died. We'll never forget these times in our lives. History books will be filled with the tale of time. To the cowards who've now taken refuge to hide, there is a code of honor to which we abide. To avenge the great losses of innocence applied,by the enemy with nothing but yellow inside. To the guardians of peace who will go out and try,to seek out the wrongdoers and do what is right. We look to now with your heads still held high,we'll pray for you all, every day, every night. To those who are still wondering, asking why, there are no good answers to what went awry. But remember the day,be assured we will fight, although now in darkness there again will be light. It is now the time for our family to unite, and pray for the lives of the souls now in flight. But still assured that no matter the plight, with all of our prayers we will live on in spite. We will reach up to the heavens no matte the height, and with God as our shepherd we shall live on tonight. Andy W. |

Nation Of Survivors
In the bright September morning without warning to us all A few thousand lives were shattered and we watched two buildings fall And a billion souls felt empty, and the flags at half-mast fly In the memory of the innocent which didn't have to die
We've lost brothers, sisters, cousins. We've lost family and friends But we've made the choice not to forget their lives and tragic ends Though we've had our share of troubles we have put them all aside As a nation grieves we find ourselves defending them with pride
We're a nation of survivors, with one heart we share a tear But we live to serve the memory, not giving into fear Though they try to take security with the things they've done and said All their acts of inhumanity bring unity instead So we stand here as a family. One heart, one soul, one voice. We are challenged by this moment, and united here by choice.
'We will not fail' in war vs. terror 'WE WILL PROSPER |

So many angels came down from above to take with them those that they were guarding. They will always have a place in this world,in our hearts, and will never be forgotten. May they watch over us as we go to war to fight this battle in their honor. These colors do not run and no shall we! We will fight this battle with pride, for the love of our great country, and for those lives that were taken from all of us on this attack of our great country on September 11th 2001. You will never be forgotten.
God Bless You All |

Angels among us How can it be Devistation Surrounds us And all that we see Without hesitation Or a second glance They ran to the rescue There could be a chance The buildings crumbled Traping inside Our family, friends And American Pride One by one We bring them home To famlies and loved ones To all they have known We are firefighters Across this Nation Family undivided Even in devestation Firefighters have angels Just look and see Our fallen brothers Are angels for you and me They all have recieved Their final tone God has called them to come home

Dont Cry
Don't come to my grave, And sit and cry; For I am not here, I did not die; I laid this body to rest, For it was time for me to go; To a much better place, And this we all know; So hold your head up proud, Don't let it hang in sorrow; Try not to think of yesterday, But look forward to tomorrow; For each day that passes by, Is one less day we'll be apart; My love for you will fill your heart

As duty called We fled to the scene Unable to believe What our eyes were seeing Without a second thought We ran to help People in trouble That's what we felt Only to find Beyond belief Chaos and mayhem People in the streets Beyond the call of duty It cut like a knife Our family and friends Lost their lives We are Police Officers And band together American Pride Will Stand Forever We have angels among us Although you don't see Our fallen brothers from he NYPD

What once was, no longer is. The New York City Skyline has been altered and will never be the same. Which has been taken away from us by acts of senseless terrorism. We also lost so many innocent lives, not only in the air but on the ground. New York lost the Twin Towers, and Washington's Petagon Building sustained heavy damage. As the nation mourns, our love for our country has grown stronger than ever! America will not weaken from this but only grow stronger. We will seek out those responsible and make them pay for their attack against America. If that means paying with their life then that is the way it has to be for the many lives they have taken from us. For all the families and people that have been effected from this for life. We as a country will prevail and never die!!
